6 chairs, not 10.Mar 29, 2007
(The heading of 10 chairs on this review is incorrect; I ordered/got 6)The chairs were perfect, my only complaint was that they arrived past the latest promised date; it took weeks to get them. Delays from the warehouse or distributer. However, the company readily admitted the problem and were approachable and responsive. I had a few questions which they addressed quickly. Why does the description include "NEW" in quotes? Because Amazon sells both new and used items. Yes, these are indeed new. They are a deep dark chocolate brown. The quality is great, with nice detail in the stitching/roll seam on back. Aesthetically, I wouldn't say they're 100% the typical straight back Parson style, as there is a slight flare out at the top, but it's a nice line. They were packaged remarkably well, 2 to a box and seriously easy to assemble. The parts fit together like a dream. The seats are very thick and comfortable. I'd be hard pressed to differentiate between leatherette and leather in this case. You can't beat the price, either; I looked.
