 Nice ottoman at a great priceNov 05, 2007
This was a fantastic deal, $200 for a 40 x 40 leather ottoman. It looks great and the construction quality seems great thus far. The packing for shipment seemed to be first rate and I didn't even find a scratch on the piece when it arrived. It even comes with its own wrench in order to attach the legs to the rest of the ottoman which was great. I would highly recommend this ottoman. I plan to use it as a coffee table that can be converted into extra seating for large gatherings.

This piece is one nice, classy looking hunk of furniture. The leather is FINE anyone with a problem in this department needs to go see a Proctoligist! It is very substanial, the finish is gorgeous and it works perfectly for what it is intended. As long as you can keep the kids off of it.

It is a combination of natural leather hides processed and bonded to a man-made surface covering and then coated with a thick layer of polyurethane. In addition to the highly desirable "shiny" look, the coating helps prevent scratching, gives it a higher resistance to sunlight fading and is an excellent dirt-repelling surface. Bycast can be a top grain or split hide but in either case it is ironed very smooth to remove most of the natural graining. To clean, simply use a damp towel. Heat from a hairdryer can be used to remove light scratches."

Perfect ottomanSep 13, 2007
I had to get rid of my old glass coffee table because it was hazardous to my children. This ottoman is really plush with soft corners. I don't have to worry about my kids playing around it. Its also really easy to clean and looks great in my living room. I was surprised to find such a great deal for the perfect ottoman.

Bicast leather is real leatherSep 13, 2007
Crate and Barrel and Pottery Barn all sell bicast leather chairs and ottomans. I have a sofa set and club chairs in this leather and it wears well with my kids and 2 big dogs. The leather seems thicker than the normal leather that I saw at the furniture store and that's why I went with it. I'm very happy with my purchases and would recommend them to anyone.
