Patterned after designer Stefano Giovannoni's popular Bombo stool, each features a molded ABS plastic seat rounded into something approximating a stylish eggcup. Or is it an ice cream cone? The single swath of plastic continues down the support post, then gives way to the mirror-polish steel tubing frame, oval-shaped footrest, and steady round base. To adjust the chair height, the stick handle under the seat controls a gas hydraulic piston system that moves it effortlessly up and down.
