Waste of MoneyMay 18, 2008 I bought this desk online. The quality is so low. The drawers are supposed to hold hanging folders. However, the hangers are too far apart that you can't hang any standard folders. This is a crappy piece.

I'm disappointedJan 16, 2007 I usually write reviews for products that I have liked, and most of my reviews are positive. I am quite disappoined with this product. I love the concept of a bill payers desk, and have seen some more expensive, better quality desks. In retrospect, I should have spent the extra money to buy a better one.
This desk was shipped in mediocre condition; there were several visible nicks and gouges in the "wood" and one of the dividers for the removable bin was missing. The box was not damaged, so I can only assume the damage was occured at the warehouse... A disclaimer was enclosed in the packaging (but not in the product listing) stating that the manufacturer is not liable for providing missing parts! So, I assume that if parts are missing (and there are many parts) the buyer must repack the desk and lug the 56 lb box to have it shipped back! The frustration, the cost, the aching back! I haven't decided what to do yet, but I will be calling the manufacturer to send parts, despite their disclaimer........I believe they ARE responsible to send a whole, complete and fully useable product. I think the disclaimer is just an unethical tactic they use to dissuade buyers from calling for replacement parts. I am very disappointed I may send the desk back and get the higher quality one!

Be Careful - Vendor tried to double ship meJun 04, 2006 This was easy to put together (as long as you follow the directions). It's a very nice piece. Unfortunately, the vendor tried to double ship me and charged me twice for it. However, Amazon was quick to correct the problem.
I highly recommend this item.
