Gotta love itOct 28, 2008
I have horrible memories of poorly made "assembly required" furniture and toys. This is not one of those products.
I went through two other store purchased TV stands that I ended up having to return due to damage only visible once the box was opened. I was pretty worried about having this shipped. But it arrived in great shape.
Assembly is a bit time consuming but not difficult. I took my time and completed the stand in about 1 1/2 hours. The instructions were good and each and every piece of the product has a numbered label attached including each bag of hardware and all of the wood components. The only thing lacking was the amount of wood glue provided for the dowels. Luckily I had some additional glue on hand. Every part was aligned and fit perfectly. No misaligned holes or miscut pieces. Everything fit together snugly without having to force anything. The end result looks pretty close to a furniture store product.
I can't speak for other TV stand manufacturers but I don't see how you can go wrong with a Bush product.

We got this to hold our 60" LCD. This cabinet took a few hours to put together but it is well worth it. It is very strong and sturdy. It holds all of our AV equipment including our two game consoles and supplies. Bonus- our 15month old daughter is not strong enough to open the doors and yet I can open them with ease
