Here's a copy of my letter to customer service:
Last night I received the Savannah Corner TV Stand. I'm not sure where to begin. Let's start with the color - - you call it "dark cherry". I have various shades of cherry furniture throughout my place and this is anything but "cherry", dark yes, but cherry, no. It is such a dark brown that it is nearly black. But I could live with that...
The detailed description for the unit says "some assembly required". Let's see, there are 52 parts, 229 fasteners and 76 other hardware items, for a grand total of 357 pieces, well that would be if you had shipped them all. I am a builder, and it took over four hours so far, and I probably have another hour left, once I get more parts. Five hours qualifies for "some assembly" ??
Here's what is MISSING from the box:
- The two (different sized) screws that go into the hing base (H145994), one each
- (1) large dowel (H38169)
- (1) small dowel (H144907)
- (16) screws (H23119)
- (16) screws (H146001)
- (16) screws (H146052)
Here's what is BROKEN and needs replacement:
(1) H144906 Locking Cam (crumbled when I screwed it in, by hand)
(3) drawer brackets (H100445), shipped broken
Also, the wooden legs screw into a threaded sleeve. I screwed them in, gently, and one of the sleeves crumbled all of the "wood" surrounding it and fell out. I tried reinstalling with some wood glue. So I have a $3000 TV sitting on a TV stand with a broken leg.
The exterior finish has scuff marks in many places and I will need to buy a touch up marker for a few scratches.
I live by the motto "you get what you pay for", but I did not get $365 worth of furniture here. It is difficult to call this pile of compressed saw dust furniture at all.

Whelp, it is holding up real well, we bought the hutch as well. It's not as nice as I had hoped, but like I said, it's okay. If I had a "reasonable and inexpensive" way to return it, I probably would have. $800 for the two-peices..as hard as a corner piece is to find.. I dunno. I think it's too much $ for the quality compared to $ for quality in the rest of my home. It's not horrible, it's just... I wouldn't have bought it if I'd seen in in person first.

This is a nice TV stand, it went together pretty easily and looks good when finished. Has plenty of storage for components but drawers are pretty small and hard to open, they may as well be decorative.

Quality & Fit is excellent. Went together as instructed. However the so called dark cherry is mostly partical board wrapped with simulated wood paper. Looks good but is not very durable & water resistant. Very little real wood used. This could be a realy nice peice if all the visable surfaces were real wood.
