This stool looks great and fits under my kitchen island extention perfectly when not in use. The seat is comfortable and is the right height. The stool came boxed in one piece so all I had to do was take it out of the box. It is great for the price.

The stool was not very well put together. There were gaps where the cross members were attached to the legs. I found better stools, for a lot less money (1/2 the price) somewhere else. I wouldn't waste your money on them.

Great, Sturdy Bar StoolsSep 27, 2005
I was very nervous ordering bar stools that I had not seen before- but these bar stools are extremely sturdy and they look great! They are heavy (Shipping weight 30lbs) and don't have too much of the distressed antique look (which is what I was afraid of when I received it). With free super saver shipping- these were also a fantastic deal! The closest bar stools we could find at the same price were extremely flimsy and did not look like a nice piece of furniture. I would highly reccomend these bar stools!

Solid - High Quality Walnut - ImpressedFeb 03, 2005
I thought these were a little expensive, up until the point they arrived. The come fully assembled at the factory and they are built SOLID! These are made of solid walnut (all around) and have a beautiful finish. This is definitely not some cheap ass bar stool. I have a feeling they will be just as sturdy ten years from now. I guess this company that makes these also makes some other high end furnature too. I ended up getting free shipping from Amazon, so considering how much these weight, it's a pretty good deal.
