Angry, upset and disappointedMay 08, 2007 I read the previous review, and thought I would try it anyways. However, there were problems almost immediately. It was severely chipped and was very poor quality. The grain was pretty, but it was decals and coming off in places. I got a replacement, and while there were chips, it was hidden. I started putting it together, and it kept falling apart. The pieces are held together with plastic dowel sticks. I finally decided to build it in the place where it would sit, since it kept falling apart as I tried to move it. I got the drawers in, and the thing leaned completely to the right. I propped it up, and all the drawers fell down, then out. Finally the sides gave out (They were only held together with the little plastic sticks and screws that plugged into one side and screwed in the other... the plug kept coming out of course.) Finally the drawers came out and the top crashed down. 13 hours... wasted. I was so disppointed.

Worth it in the end!Mar 14, 2007 Overall, I am fairly pleased with this product, although I had some difficulty initially. When the product first arrived, the main piece which was the top of the dresser, was cracked all the way in half. Four of the drawer fronts were damaged also. I called the company and they shipped out the replacement pieces very quickly. Once I started putting it together, I realized that it was missing one of the drawer slides. I again called the company and received the piece within about a week. I had some difficulty screwing in the drawer slides with getting the screw to screw all the way in and when I went to put the drawers in, they wouldn't go. I ended up removing a few of the screws from the drawer slides so that the drawers would go in. The drawer slides are wedged into the sides pretty well even without the screws so I am hoping that this will not present a problem later on. Now that it is all put together, it is a very pretty dresser and I am enjoying it.
