 Nice concept.... shockingly overpriced.Feb 17, 2007
I like the chair...I think it's a good concept for those of us who have to sit down in front of a computer for long periods of time. However, sitting in a position that forces you to have good posture has it's downside and that is you're actually expending energy to your back muscles to keep sitting up straight. If you're used to sitting back in a chair and having the chair back support your lower back, then you're going to have a tough time transitioning to this chair. it's going to take some time to build up the muscles in your back to tolerate sitting in this chair for a long period of time. Ultimately, it's better for you to have strong lower back muscles so it's worth the effort to make the transition, but you should be aware that this is an issue with this chair.
My main complaint with this chair and the reason why I gave it 2 stars is because of the price. The materials are your standard, run of the mill, mass-manufactured in China kind of materials. Other than the resting pads, there is nothing in this chair that you wouldn't find in a $39.99 chair from Office Depot. The resting pads are Polyurethane foam, with a branding tag called memory foam... which is TempurPedic's excuse for charging you 1000x the materials price for their "technology". There's nothing special here...it's just highly dense polyurethane that you can get from a foam factory for $.10 a foot. This chair would be a good deal at $49.00 but anything above that is overpriced. At $229, it's downright immoral.

 Kneeling Chair offers a good change of paceJan 03, 2007
I bought this to allow me to shift from my usual desk chair to something that would force me to move around a bit differently, stiffen my back, and alleviate some back strains I was having. Although it is a bit awkward to actually have two chairs at my desk, it's been a great help [when I remember to shift!]. It came unassembled but was easy to put together and works fine, the knee pads are comfortable and I have no complaints.

Better Posture For Your BackNov 16, 2006
By pushing your hips forward and distributing your weight between the seat and the knee pad, this chair succeeds in helping you achieve better posture when you're sitting. The Tempur memory foam makes this chair more comfortable that kneeling chairs without that feature. I really liked the price of this chair. The only thing I don't like too much is that there are five legs. This gives it great stability, but the legs tend to get in the way of your feet when they're tucked underneath. That's why I only gave it four stars. Other than that, it's a great product.
