cuteNov 15, 2008 My son is a year old and pushes it around the house when he plays with it alone. However, when his older sister (4 years old) plays with him, he works to imitate stacking the items and loves the little 'dinging' sounds made when sliding the loops through the slot. He's getting the hang of it. Great toy for motor skills.
great educational toy!Oct 19, 2008 I sent this to my great niece who lives in Pittsburgh. From the moment her mother put it together, she has been completely entranced by all the activities that are available. It's a great gift.
Center pole problemsJul 16, 2008 My baby, who is 7 months old, loves the table, and although she doesn't quite understand pushing the rings in the hole she loves playing with everything on there.
Unfortunately, two days ago (about a week after we received the product) she realized if she takes all of the rings off, she can pull the center pole out and chew on it. She does this the moment we put the toy back together, and it is the first thing she does when she goes to the table if we repair it while she's doing something else.
Since the reason we got the table was to give her something she could pull up on and cruise around, it still serves its purpose and is a good price for the value. I just wish there was some way to make the pole stay on (other than glue it, which I may have to do eventually).
Favorite Toy for Baby who likes to StandFeb 10, 2008 We bought this for son when he was 8 months old, because he is crawling and loves to pull himself up to a standing position. He was constantly pulling himself up beside our coffee table and then pushing everything off the table. Now he has his OWN table to pull up on and toss things off of, LOL. It's been about 6 weeks now and this is still his favorite toy. At first he would just pull the rings off and throw them on the floor. Now he will hand them to me or shake them (they each make a rattling sound). He also likes the little beads and the green "clicker" wheel. He plays with this table every day.

QUIET, battery free fun!Dec 27, 2007 Plus for parents: If you're tired of every toy on the market today being noisy and irritating, you'll love that this one has no lights or sounds or music. It's just good, old fashioned fun. And the learning is by interaction, not sitting there being mindlessly entertained. That also means this toy will hold its interest longer.
Plus for baby: This toy has several stations to play with. My 1 year old loves to pull the shape pieces out (he can't put them back in yet). True, I do have to retrieve them a lot, but at this age it's all about taking things apart so I'm used to it. He also LOVES to take the rings off the cone and put them in the slot. Even at his young age, it only took him a few minutes to figure out how to push them down. And it gives him no end of pleasure to put the rings and anything else small or flat into the slot and watch them come out below. He also likes to spin the wheel full of beads. But he hasn't figured out how to turn the little gears yet. I guess he'll grow into those, which is good-then this toy will be interesting still.
