 Very impressed! Just what I wanted!Aug 22, 2008
This is a great set - exactly what I was looking for! A nice, sturdy, solid wood set for an affordable price. I really am impressed with the quality. They are thick solid wood pieces. Mine arrived in excellent condition (no splits or scratches). Easy to set up. I do recommend that you 1) use wood glue with the dowels (as you should when putting together anything like this, and 2) that you might use a different allen wrench than the one provided. The allen wrench that was provided looks to be made of the same material as the screws. When I was tightening the screws, it tended to strip them a little. Once I saw that, I got my allen wrench set from by bike repair kit and it was fine. No problem. The shelves under the table top fit the coloring books sideways (they stick out if you put them in longwise), but it doesn't fit a pad of paper (they're usually longer than the normal coloring books). But it is great to hold those small boxes of crayons or markers. The size is really nice too - not too large like some tables or too small (I think the Tot Tudors and Little Tikes round tables are too small for example). Also, the chairs are a good size. My just 3-yr old is on the small side (35" tall) and can just barely sit on them by herself comfortably - she can use it now and there's still a lot of room to grow. I can also sit comfortably next to her on the other chair w/out fearing to break the chair or have my knees up near my face (which was the case w/ our previous Little Tikes table). All in all a fantastic buy and one I'd recommend to anyone.

I ordered the table set on 08-05-08 and I got my order on 08-06-08. It is easy to assemble. My son loves it. It is worth the money.

I received the table and chairs today (I just ordered it yesterday). Very easy assembly, is heavy and feels well made. Our 6-year-old and 3-year old both love it as well. The table and chairs sit up higher so they should get years of use out of it...even as they grow. Beautiful set!

This is perfect for 2-6 year-olds. It is sturdy, easy to assemble and beautifully finished. It's nice enough to complement a common living space. I have a three year-old with a penchant for drawing on everything & so far it's been easy to clean. I would recommend this set for anyone with kids who play hard.
