I bought this so I could use my laptop while in bed. The surface is nice and holds my laptop without slipping. There is adequate room for typing and the wrist support is comfortable. Enough room for a mouse, but then the desk is off-balance due to the fact that the laptop has to sit to one side or the other. It could be much more comfortable if the "pillow" were thicker and filled more. I can still feel the laptop's heat through the bottom.
