Refused ShipmentJan 11, 2007
A friend of mine purchased a similar headboard. Once I saw it in her apartment. I decided it wasnt for me. Its overpriced.
 Not what expectedAug 23, 2004
There's no pearl about this item. The picture is totally misleading, I wanted the headboard on the picture in shiny white, instead what I got was more like a dull white washed with wood streaks showing through. Very disappointed.
Not exactly whiteAug 06, 2004
I realize images over the internet can appear different but, I was shocked when I opened the box. This headboard is not white.
It's off white with grey streaks, it reminds me of white wall paneling. It doesn't match her white furniture. I thought the headboard had smooth routed edges but, they're very sharp and unrouted. There was no hardware to attach the headboard to the bedframe. It is slightly larger than daughter's twin bed. There was also a faint handprint on the headboard that won't clean off. Haven't decided if we're keeping this product.

Needs a better description for the colorJun 12, 2004
This is not a pure white headboard if that's what you are looking for. We had expected a pure white headboard. What does "Pearl White" mean anyway? Off white? Well, that's what it's more like, an off white or even palish white. We wanted a bright white to match the other furniture and this one just did not do the trick.
The manufacturers really should change the description for the color. It is misleading and returning this item is a hassle and costly due to the shipping size and cost.

I received this headboard along with the night stand the other day and they completely meet my expectations. The directions were easy to follow and they look nice in my daughter's room. As noted before, the color is not solid white, it is more of a whitewashed look. The headboard and nightstand are both this color. However, please note that the Pearl White Bookshelf is a solid white and does not match this Pearl White furniture. I would think that having the same name, they would be the same color, but that is not the case. You can get away with using them together in the same room, just don't put them side by side.
