 Beautiful Piece of FurnitureSep 15, 2008
This table is really nice. I can fit two chairs, without armrests, and just looks and feels really nice and strong. I am very satisfied.

This is a nice sturdy desk. It is real wood (not particle board). The boards were screwed together (no biscuits or dowel pins were used). It is unclear whether wood glue was used in the construction. It's certainly not the work of a master craftsman but much better than most furniture you find in stores today.
It was very well packaged and I received it undamaged. Assembly, consisting of attaching the legs and the knobs for the drawer, was very easy. The desk weighs about 100 pounds so flipping it over so it stood right side up was a bit difficult to do without help.
The desk looks great and was definitely worth the $200 I paid for it.

The first desk that I received was badly damaged in the shipment......there was no problem sending it back.....Amazon stayed with me and made everything right...they paid the extra shipping too.....the second desk that I received was in perfect condition.....it's a nice looking desk and the quality is well worth the two hundred dollars that I spent as compared to the two hundred dollar desk that I saw at a million furniture stores....It's easy and only takes a few minutes to install the four legs...It seems to be very sturdy and for the money I will recommend this desk....I also purchased the matching chair and it's also very sturdy and well built....
