I am surprised in how comfortable this is. it is very thick so the futon has to stay down, but it is as comfortable as a regular mattress. The coil springs give it a bouncy feeling. I am quite impressed with the mattress, it is comfortable enough to sleep a couple nights on it. no back pain and a restful nights sleep, just like my regular mattress.
