Overall, the seat measures 23.6 inches wide, 25.6 inches deep, and 37 inches tall, and the gently curved armrests extend 1.5 inches out. They come pre-assembled, and are constructed with rust-resistant hardware. Caring for teak wood furniture is very easy, requiring just routine teak oil treatment to maintain a golden brown color. However, no oiling is needed if you prefer its more natural silvery gray coloring, which begins to appear after about three months of outdoor exposure. If spilled upon, it can be cleaned with mild soap and warm water, and a special teak cleaner should be used for more stubborn stains (like red wine). Native to India, Burma and Thailand, teak is a very hard wood that is very durable and resistant to decay. Teak's principle use was in shipbuilding (especially for 18th century war ships, as it didn't splinter under fire), and it is used extensively in India to make doors and window frames.  Great product lousy shippingNov 03, 2008
I had to reject the first order before they even took it off the truck. I knew when the driver was shaking his head as he walked toward me it would not be good. Two heavy chairs in one box with no protection. I could tell by looking through the large hole in the box that the slats of the back were broken. Chairs are a good value shipping is not especially when you factor in one's time for rejecting and coordinating delivery twice.

A basic armchair. built to last. came fully assembled--loved that a lot!!!!! Put a coat of linseed oil on--looks beautiful! The only problem I encountered, was uneven legs. I had to get out the saw. A little frustrating, but not enough to rate less than a five star. They really are nice sturdy chairs.

We were very pleased with our chairs. The box was in great shape. They were tied in really well and came in early. The chairs are very sturdy and well made.

I was lucky enough to buy these at $99. What a bargain even at the original price since they are beautiful and strong. They are also comfortable and don't require a cushion. They arrived in perfect condition - even the box was perfect unlike the one that disappeared around the 2-seater matching bench I had previously ordered. It was a different shipper -- not UPS. I am happy!

I ordered the bench that goes along with these chairs also. Gifts for my parents anniversary. We wanted adirondack chairs, when I saw these at such a great price I immediately ordered them. GOOD CHOICE on my part. These chairs and bench are top quality. Very sturdy and put together properly. My husband is a carpenter, is always very sceptical about ordering any wood product offline. He loves these chairs. Was a little concerned about the other comments on here about damage during shipping. All three of my pieces were in excellent condition. Would purchase them again!
