Insta BedMay 06, 2008 Fantastic bed and extremely comfortable. Love the features to raise the head and foot. Unfortunately the one I received seems to have a very slow leak and I will be returning it, which is so disappointing since it was so comfortable!

Air bed with outstanding featuresFeb 08, 2008 We have found the Insta-bed a great product. It inflates and adjusts easily and quickly. Some reviewers reported air pump problems, but ours works just fine. Some also reported severe air loss from one or the other of the chambers, but we saw no noticeable air loss in either chamber. Some slight adjustment is all that's need when you first get into the bed. What we love the most is the adjustable head and foot rests. It's great for reading, watching TV, using the laptop, etc. and not a typical feature for an air bed. Now that I'v experienced this feature, I want an adjustable bed for our regular bed.
The one fault we have found is the noticeable dip in the middle of the bed. If you don't like to sleep close to your partner you might want to rethink this purchase. If that doesn't bother you, or you're sleeping alone we think it is a great choice. Although I wouldn't want to use this for our usual sleeping arrangements, it's great for first class camping, guests, etc.

Sleep Number Company, Look Out!Nov 13, 2007 I had stomach surgery (ouch) and now have a condition that requires me to sleep at a sharp angle. Stuffing pillows around me didn't work as they slid out during the night. Sleep Number wants $5,000.00 for a bed that elevates head and feet - too much for me right now! Then I found this little beauty! I've had it for 3 weeks now and I've never slept this soundly - even before my surgery! This bed is amazing and I don't find it to be too soft. In fact, I can't use it at the top firmness and have to let air out to be completely comfortable. If you are very heavy or want a super rock-hard bed, this isn't it. However, I feel exactly like the proverbial bug-in-a-rug and am going to demand that this company make a twin version so I can take it on trips! I am using this as my primary bed and it is working wonderfully!! I have it next to my kind-sized $2400.00 mattress and haven't gotten back into that bed yet! And I never will. Thank you, Wenzel for a fabulous product that is serving not only pampered campers but ailing patients as well! I'm on the road to full recovery from excellent nights' sleep!

So Far, no complaints!!!Sep 21, 2007 I bought this bed not for camping, but actually for use during"Movie Nights"! I have had 6 back surgeries and a neck surgery with fusion which also included a hip operation. We are young (not seniors), and every time we wanted to watch a movie (since I have a problem with prolonged sitting we would have to retreat to the bedroom. We have used it 3 times...have put it up in our great room to watch a movie on the plasma HD tv. I have also fallen asleep on it which is a miracle since I am in such constant pain, it is difficult for me to sleep. I know it says it stretches and may need more inflation...we haven't had this problem and we are definitely not small people. No rolling to the center or any of the other problems others have described. We are extremely pleased thus far, and hope we don't encounter any problems in the future. My husband is thrilled since now he can watch all "his shows" on the "good" TV. A wonderful bed and we highly recommend it based on our 3 uses!!!!
Don't waste your money!Sep 15, 2007 The concept is great but until they perfect (or at the very least improve) the design and whatever the problem is with the inflation, don't waste your money. The bed never fully inflates to a firm touch. It sags in the middle before you even get in. Once you're in, the bed billows around you. I didn't think much about the bed losing air the first night as the instruction say, "it stretches, etc." However, after five nights of having to add air throughout the night, it's time to return the bed! Apparently the sagging and air loss problems are common. Read the other reviews.
